The problem to solve
The company needed a site whose prices, templates and copy could change daily without code changes, running reliably on self-managed hosting.
How we solved it
A server-rendered site (React Router) for speed and SEO, an Express API on MongoDB and a separate admin; every page block is editable; deployed with Docker Compose behind Nginx, with build retries for an unreliable network.
